Building Better Lives Together

About Us

Welcome to Shiloh Operations! We are a nonprofit start-up driven by a vision and mission profoundly inspired by faith in God. Nearly nine years ago, I found myself in the home of complete strangers—remarkable individuals whose extraordinary kindness became a lifeline for my daughter and me, rescuing us from a deeply abusive situation. It was during this critical and transformative period that healing began to blossom for us, as we embarked on a journey toward new lives built on the unwavering foundation of faith in Jesus.

Our Programs

At Shiloh, we are excited to share our vision for a transformative two-step transitional living program aimed at supporting mothers with children in their custody, including boys up to 12 years old and girls up to 17 years old. While we are still in the startup phase, our goal is to create a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each family.

In the initial stage, we plan to establish a residential communal setting that can accommodate up to five families, fostering a supportive community. The second stage will involve private tiny homes on property we aim to acquire, offering families a sense of independence and security.

Our program will focus on equipping mothers with the skills necessary for sustainable living, including establishing financial support systems, budgeting, parenting techniques, and finding affordable housing. By focusing on these essential areas, we envision mothers being able to save for future living expenses and ultimately thrive in independent living.

As we work towards making this vision a reality, we invite your support in helping us bring this life-changing program to fruition. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of families in need, providing them with the safe and healing environment they deserve. Together, we can empower mothers and create a brighter future for them and their children.

The Mark IV Program

The "Mark IV" program is designed as a comprehensive three-phase initiative to support mothers in achieving independent living within six months.

Our mom's journey begins by establishing a structured daily routine for families, including nutritious meals and shared household responsibilities. Each mother works on a personalized plan that addresses her unique needs and those of her children. This may involve enrolling kids in school or managing legal, medical, and dental appointments.

Our dedicated House Managers are on hand to guide each resident in developing a sound financial plan while exploring housing and employment opportunities. Together, we aim to empower mothers and foster a brighter future for their families.

Your Daily Routine

Thirtyfold Phase

  • Starts when a new resident arrives at the shelter.

  • She becomes accustomed to the household routine, understands the guidelines, and is given specific chores and responsibilities.

  • Starts daily Bible study sessions and encourages spiritual growth through the teachings of the Word of God.

  • She participates in all the activities, both inside the shelter and outdoors.

  • Starts collecting and maintaining documentation on important statistics, as well as information related to children's education, health, and legal matters, among others.

  • She opens a savings account and puts in all the money she has or receives.

  • Finishes her "To-Do List" in 30 days.

Throughout the 30 days of the Thirtyfold Program, her mindset and achievements will influence her preparedness to move on to Sixtyfold.

Bible Study

Sixtyfold Phase

  • Throughout her time here, the resident will start to implement the principles she has learned from the Word of God in her everyday experiences.

  • She will own her circumstances, regardless of who is to blame, and will start looking for practical solutions to address her needs.

  • She will receive materials to assist her in securing a job and arranging child care.

  • She will learn how to give tithes in accordance with biblical teachings.

  • She will get assistance in deciding whether to obtain welfare benefits, seek employment, or participate in a short-term job training program.

Over the course of the 60 days in the Sixtyfold program, her mindset and achievements will influence her preparedness to move on to Hundredfold.

Women in Workshop

Hundredfold Phase

  • She plans to establish a checking account and implement a strategy to manage her finances for living independently.

  • She will search for a place to live, means of transportation, and a local church to attend.

  • Shiloh Operations will assist her with furniture and household items to the greatest extent possible.

  • She will participate in all the shelter's activities up until the day she departs.

Upon completion of this phase, the resident may leave the program or be offered an opportunity to move into our second step. Each resident is evaluated on their progress in the "Mark IV" program to see if they qualify for the second step.

"There are some seeds which are sown on good ground; such as hear The Word and receive it and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixtyfold, and some a hundredfold."
